Richard III had a very short reign from 1483-1485. He took is last breath on the field at the Battle of Bosworth. The battle is known for its last decisive action of the War of the Roses.
The last king of the House of York and the last of the Plantagent dynasty.
The location of where his body had been placed after his death was unknown, however, Richard II was found buried under a council car park in Leicester.
Now his body lay to rest at Leicester Cathedral.
Richards short reign shows very little coinage available and as such all coins are considered rare.
